Delivering stockings to our local veterans’ home is one of our new favorite Christmas traditions! Last year, our incredible community helped us to collect special stocking stuffers throughout the month of December. Then on Christmas Eve, the Reuland & Barnhart Orthodontic team hand-delivered them to the incredible veterans at the Watkins Logan Veterans home. It was truly a Christmas memory that we will never forget! While we’re not able to go in person this year, we still had a lot of fun preparing stockings with our team.
Continuing Our New Favorite Tradition
We are delighted to be able to continue this tradition with a few tweaks for 2020. Thanks to our new generous community sponsors, we can safely fill veterans’ stockings with some of their favorite items for Christmas morning. For the health and safety of the veterans, our team will not be able to hand-deliver them this year, but the staff at Watkins Logan ensures that they will happily fill-in as Santa in our place!
Christmas is the time to reflect on our blessings and find ways to give back! We are so grateful to live and work in such a generous community. It is our great joy to be able to share our love and gratitude by sending a little Christmas cheer with our local veterans!
